How to tech writing to toddler

In this pandemic time toddlers are at home. Parent are worried about their learning. In this blog I will tell you some simple and easy way to teach them writing. Few things need to keep in mind while dealing with toddlers.

Patience is the key

They are very small they don’t understand what is writing. They don’t how to hold pencil even. Not interested in listening you. You should be clam while teaching.

Persistence is important

When we start a something new we are enthusiastic as time pass we loss interest in it. Same goes with teaching toddler. After few days we start giving break in teaching, it breaks the continuity. Try to avoid cheat days.

Repeating of work.

Little kid forgets things very quickly you need to repeat the task with them after every three days.

For one week teach kid standing line, from second week start teaching sleeping line. On third day of second week give half page of standing and half page of sleeping line.

Note book
Pencil and pen
30 min of a day

Notebook

We need a four lines notebook. Don’t buy the thick one, 30 -40 pages notebook is good. Refer the pic below.

Pen and Pencil

You need pen to makes dots. Choice any colour then black like blue and red highlight the dots.

Sharp pencil for kid.

Your time

Kids can’t do writing by themselves you have sit with them. Initially for few line you might need to hold their hand. Don’t spend more than 30 min a day they get bored.

Dots making

There are many kind of lines. Start with horizontal line called it standing line. Its take 4 to five days to learn them to make standing line, give one-week time. Every child has its own speed, give them time to learn. Always compliment their work verbally and written (like make a star, smiley or toffee).
